- SWM hosts two onsite silent auctions annually. One auction is held at the May Annual Reception where the students receive their scholarships. The other auction is a Celebrity Silent Auction held at the Sambuca Jazz Cafe in Buckhead. We also host two online auctions during the year.

- Volunteers are needed to secure donated items for the auctions. Items of interest include:
airline tickets, hotel stays, jewelry, art, electronics, massage certificates, spa treatments, and restaurant certificates

You will receive a silent auction sponsorship package outlining what donors receive in exchange for donating auction items. Items may be collected throughout the year.

- SWM participates in the Bloomingdale Shopping Benefit each year
- The Shopping Benefit for 2009 will take place on Thursday, October 29
- Both Bloomingdale’s Atlanta Stores (Perimeter and Lenox) will host events throughout the day (from 10am until 10pm) including fashion shows, entertainment, refreshments, etc.
- Ticket holders will receive discounts on items purchased
- Tickets are $10 each with 100% of the proceeds going to benefit SWM

Volunteers are asked to pre-sell tickets which are available around August 15th each year.

- SWM is working to increase the number of quarterly donors supporting our program.
- Quarterly donors pledge to donate a pre-determined amount quarterly via debit or credit card
- Each quarterly donor receives two tickets to the May Fundraiser, and a framed group photo of each
Year’s scholarship recipients.

Volunteers are asked to participate in a drive to gain additional quarterly donors. Each Volunteer will set a goal and will receive a packet consisting of quarterly donor pledge cards, self-addressed return envelopes and a recap of the program’s details.
